The Norwegian Football Federation (NFF) is the country’s largest sports federation. With more than 1,700 clubs, 26,000 teams, and 130,000 volunteers, it’s a cornerstone of community life and a driver of national pride. Since 2008, we’ve been NFF’s trusted digital partner. Our shared goal: reduce admin, improve access, and build a system that supports the full scope of football in Norway.

From grassroots to elite, from volunteers to fans, we’ve helped shape a digital infrastructure that now supports more than 300,000 matches a year. Together, we’ve developed and maintained the services that make modern football work—from administrative systems to apps, data platforms, and websites. The result is a digital backbone described by the client in clear terms: “Without it, Football-Norway comes to a halt.”

The administrative core of Football-Norway

We’ve worked with NFF to design and develop FIKS, the Football Information and Communication System. It’s a custom developed web-based application used by clubs, districts, and central NFF to manage everything from players and matches to referees and venues. FIKS is also the source of match data for other key services, including fotball.no and the Min Fotball app.

Digital that keeps Norwegian football moving

The solutions we’ve built together now serve as the backbone for planning and executing football activities across the country. FIKS alone handles over 3 million API calls every day, supporting more than 100,000 users—from club officials to national administrators. Tens of thousands rely on the platform to register players, schedule matches, assign referees, and run clubs efficiently.

For fans, players, and families, football in Norway is easier to access and follow. From live match updates to coaching tools, the services we’ve helped build are part of everyday life.

For NFF, digital has become strategic. The ecosystem now supports key goals—strengthening grassroots football, improving club and player development, and building closer connections with supporters.
