Copenhagen Zoo is set to get a new digital platform that brings the business together and strengthens the guest experience on zoo.dk. Following an extensive pitch process, ZOO has chosen to enter into a new partnership with NoA Ignite.
“The task is multifaceted. We want to inspire, fascinate, and show the real ZOO, with animals and people at the center, to our many different guest groups. At the same time, we want to become better at highlighting the full value proposition of the garden and modernising our technical setup, making it easier to launch new initiatives, test, and optimise content,” says Dennis Uslu Hansen, Director of Sales & Commercial Development at Copenhagen Zoo.
He continues:
“After surveying the market, the choice fell on NoA Ignite, who demonstrated a strong understanding of the task, the ZOO brand, and the ambition of a more engaging zoo.dk combined with a flexible and agile technical setup. We look forward to the collaboration, which in addition to NoA Ignite also includes Venue Manager, who will deliver additional systems.”
The new web platform is part of Copenhagen Zoo’s increased focus on strengthening commercial development and the overall guest journey, from inspiration and planning to the visit in the garden and the relationship afterwards. The goal is to make zoo.dk a more active part of the business and a stronger gateway to the garden, all year round. The initiative coincides with ZOO’s new commercial leadership and a strategy that in the coming years will help maintain and further develop Copenhagen Zoo’s position as an attractive urban retreat and an internationally recognised attraction.
“Copenhagen Zoo is one of Denmark’s strongest experience brands, and ZOO has a clear ambition to create greater cohesion between inspiration, planning, and visits. We are excited to translate this into a platform where experience, data, and technology work together,” says Lasse Vakgaard, Partner at NoA Ignite.
