VIERLIVE launched during the pandemic to stream concerts and support artists. But every show required manual setup, ticketing was fragile, and the content disappeared after streaming.
Solution
We helped turn VIERLIVE into a full digital venue with a flexible platform, stable tech, smooth ticketing, on-demand video, and tools the team could run without code.
Impact
VIERLIVE streamed over 150 concerts, sold 65,000+ tickets in 74 countries, employed 2,000 culture workers, and became the world’s first UN-certified climate-positive digital festival.

A platform for performance

Together with two NoA agencys, Anorak and Bold, we helped turn VIERLIVE into a full digital venue. Our teams combined design, technology, and brand into one seamless solution. Quick to launch, easy to manage, and built for artists, fans, and everyone in between.

The new platform was developed using Sanity and Next.js, giving the VIERLIVE team full control without writing code. Designers and developers worked iteratively between concerts to fine-tune the experience. Every element, from checkout to chat, was tested and refined to make the live experience smooth and stable.

We simplified the buying flow and introduced flexible sales options: single tickets, bundles, subscriptions. On-demand video made each show last longer, giving fans more to discover and artists more value per stream.

And with a strong visual identity created by Bold, the brand felt as professional as the performances it hosted. VIERLIVE became a digital space the cultural sector could stand behind.

Vier.live takes the concept of ‘digital cultural experiences’ to a new level while securing income for a struggling cultural industry. This is an important cultural service in the current climate.
