Challenge
Gullfunn was outgrowing their current web platform and saw the need for a modern, scalable platform to strengthen the customer journey and support their continued growth across channels.
Solution
We built a new online store with Omnium, Sanity, Bluestone PIM and Voyado, designed for online visibility, onsite conversion, with full responsiveness, flexibility, scalability to create a seamless omnichannel experience. The solution was built using our composable commerce platform accelerator, Adapt.
Impact
The result is a robust, future-ready platform that has supported their growth from 30 MNOK to more than 100 MNOK revenue in online sales. Customers now take part in a more engaging journey, no matter where it starts and where it ends. Employees work more efficiently both in the stores and in the administration. Gullfunn now has a stronger digital foundation that is supporting their continued growth and innovation, and that easily keeps up with the technological advancements. We won’t claim it’s the world’s fastest e-com solution – but we have yet to come across anything that beats it.

Shaping a smarter retail journey

In close collaboration with Gullfunn, we created a digital shopping experience that is engaging, personal, and seamless across channels. With new technical solutions and a refreshed visual identity, the customer journey now feels consistent and connected across both stores and the online shop.

The architecture behind the new store simplifies operations. Omnium gathers all purchases, online and in-store, into one system. This gives Gullfunn better data, more insight, and a unified overview of sales and operations.

Sanity CMS was introduced as the content platform. It makes it easy for the team to work with both products and content, giving the e-commerce manager and content team flexibility to create campaigns and stories with impact.

We also implemented Bluestone PIM to address the need for product information workflows and act as the master source of Product Information.

Together with our technology partners, we built modular components that can be adapted to new needs. The site is also under continuous development, with design updates and analysis ensuring it evolves alongside customer expectations.

We now have an advanced and robust e-commerce solution. This gives us a very good foundation for much exciting innovation in collaboration with NoA Ignite.
